Ground-breaking Ceremony to mark the start of work at Kumari Chhen and Kumari Niwas

Conservation and Development of Kumari Chhen &Kumari Niwas in Patan, Lalitpur commenced with Bhumi Puja ceremony by Ambassador of India to Nepal H.E.Shri Vinay Mohan Kwatra in the premises of Ratnakar Mahavihar in Patan. Community members of Patan area where Kumari Chhen & Kumari Niwas is located participated with fervour &enthusiasm in ground breaking ceremony. It is one of the 10 cultural heritage reconstruction projects being taken up under Indian earthquake reconstruction grant with the technical assistance of INTACH. The INTACH team helped organize the event in coordination with Embassy of India, CLPIU (Building) and User Committee of Ratnakar Mahavihar.
